Pandemic in Seattle
A Production of Soledad O'Brien Productions
With exclusive access to Seattle and King County public health director, Patty Hayes, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at how public health cared for it most vulnerable in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. They will see how local officials scrambled to stop the spread of the virus, tracked and isolated those who became ill, and educated people about what they could do to help.
This powerful story is told through the experiences of Stevie Habedank and her family who have nowhere to live but her car, and nursing home patient Alan Kempf’s daughter, who is fighting to get him out of the facility that is considered the “epicenter of the Coronavirus.”
