Haiti: One Day, One Destiny

About This Episode

Four weeks after the January 12th 20120 earthquake struck Port-au-Prince, Haitian-American filmmaker Michele Stephenson of the Rada Film Group traveled to Port-au-Prince for the National Black Programming Consortium to document the stories of the survivors, in their own words.

Now the 23-minute film: Haiti: One Day, One Destiny is the centerpiece of a media mosaic that provides glimpses into the lives of ordinary Haitians working to rebuild and roots the earthquake and its aftermath in a cultural, historical, and sociological context.
