A world renown authority on race, politics, and religion, Martin has received over 30 awards for excellence in journalism throughout his career. He was named one of the 150 Most Influential African Americans in the United States by Ebony three years in a row and is the 2009 recipient of the NAACP Image Award.

Current host of Washington Watch with Roland Martin, a Sunday morning news program on the TV One Cable Network, he also pens his own nationally syndicated column with Creator’s Syndicate. Author of three books and senior analyst for the radio program the Tom Joyner Morning Show, Martin is a highly sought political and social analyst and makes regular appearances on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and more.
