Angelo Sosa is an award-winning American chef who focuses on bold interpretations of American, Asian and Mexican cuisine. He is known for combining complex flavors in simple recipes that put unique twists on familiar culinary dishes. Graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1997, Sosa has cooked in some of the world's most acclaimed kitchens including those of famed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, where Sosa served as Executive Sous Chef for several years. Shortly after, he became the first American invited by famed French chef Alain Ducasse to create a special seasonal menu for his Parisian restaurant Spoon Food & Wine.

Sosa rose to the attention of the national media when he finished runner-up on the seventh season of Top Chef, a cooking competition television show on the Bravo Network. He returned to perform on Top Chef All-Stars in 2011 where he was eliminated in seventh place. He currently owns several critically-acclaimed restaurants in New York City and Las Vegas.
